There are many ways to support New York Blood Center:

Matching Gifts: Many companies match employee or retiree charitable contributions. This means you can double or triple your support! Please ask your Human Resources office for a matching gift form and include it with your contribution.

Special Occasion Gifts: As you honor a family member, recognize friends or celebrate a birthday, wedding or anniversary, consider partnering with NYBC. We will work with you to create a unique giving program and will send a special letter notifying the person, or family, at your request. The amount of the donation is not revealed to the honoree. You will receive an acknowledgment letter detailing the amount of your gift

Planned Gifts: You can help NYBC now and in the future by remembering us in your will or by making another type of planned gift.

For more than 40 years, NYBC has benefited from financial support provided by many generous individuals, foundations, and corporations. To continue to successfully sustain and expand our efforts, philanthropic funding is needed.

  • The safest and most effective blood collection and distribution services,
  • Innovative clinical and transfusion techniques,
  • Vital community health projects, and,
  • Pioneering research focusing on blood-related diseases and conditions, such as HIV/AIDS, cancer, anemia, river blindness, and malaria.
